Cevisama Exhibition

Back in February we once again visited the annual Cevisama exhibition in Valencia where the latest tile trends are showcased from Spanish, Italian and other global manufacturers.

Here at Tile Choice we are always looking to update our product ranges to stay on trend, visiting these trade shows gives us a first look at what our suppliers are able to offer us.  The latest looks and trends paired with technological advances come to life through the stunning new product developments on show.

Cool Concrete

Concrete is still a main player in tile trends, both matt and high gloss finishes were available and these were seen on almost every stand we visited cementing their place in the industry. Colours varied from the contemporary greys with steel tones through to warmer shades and rusted metal effects. As sizes go these tiles are increasing in size year on year, 80x80cm and 70x35cm were both popular options.

Grey is here to stay

For another year grey is a firm favourite in the design world, being a timeless shade this has been used to open up spaces with just a hint of colour. Marble effects with gentle veining and stone finishes were prominent.

Marvellous Marble

Both classic and enduring the large format marble tiles on show commanded attention and oozed quality. The high gloss finish reflects the light beautifully around a room, with both soft vein designs and strong pulpis marble effects available there really is something for all interiors from the contemporary apartment to grand living spaces.

Weathered wood

With the popularity of wood effect tiles increasing by the day, alternative wood designs introducing distressed, reclaimed wood effects were on show. Weathered and faded to look aged over time with varying textures these tiles can be integrated into various interiors from a seaside cottage to an industrial themed apartment.

Honeycomb Hexagons

The hexagon tile has been around for a little while now but the designs are evolving and we were seeing an increase in bold colours and printed designs. These small tiles make a huge impact in the home and can create amazing feature pieces to catch the eye. Whether used on a small or large scale there are colours and designs to suit your chosen interior style.
