Terms And Conditions

In these conditions:

"the Company" shall mean Tile Choice Ltd.

"the Customer" shall mean any person, firm, company or organisation who purchases "the Goods"; "goods" shall mean the tiles or other products which you order from us. "price" the price for the goods excluding (where applicable) delivery charges and vat. "writing" includes email, facsimile transmission or other comparable means of communication.

Technical and other advice is given by the Company's authorised representative in good faith and for general guidance only. The Company is not liable for errors, or defects by, the Manufacturer or other circumstances beyond its control.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER AND FIXER TO ENSURE THAT THE GOODS ARE AS ORDERED, ARE SATISFACTORY AND SUITABLE FOR THE PURPOSE REQUIRED. NO CLAIMS CAN BE ACCEPTED ONCE THE MATERIALS ARE FIXED.

Goods are supplied on the strict understanding that British Standards relating to fixing are applied.

Samples are exhibited solely to enable the Customer to judge the style of the Goods, but do not constitute a sale by sample.

All descriptions, advertising and specifications on our website are for the purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods and their accuracy cannot be warranted by us. to assist, we operate a samples policy as mentioned below. The goods are supplied within the Manufacturers tolerance limits of size, texture and colour variations. It is recommended that tiles from all boxes are mixed to give a reasonable blend. All natural stone are supplied subject to natural colour variations. We also recommend ordering all the tiles at the same times, as ordering at other times as result into different batch colours and sizes.

The Company cannot guarantee to match shades of previous orders.

No guarantee can be given against crazing.

Quotations are given in good faith on the basis of the current costs and are open for the acceptance for a minimum period of 30 days. The price is subject to amendment in the event of alteration of the manufacturers price, or changes in currency rates.

Time is not the essence of the Contract. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within a quoted period. The Customer shall have no right to claim damages for any delay in delivery.

Payment of goods: when you order goods you must tell us your address and telephone number which must be the same as your credit card bank has on file for you. We accept most major credit and debit cards including visa, mastercard, maestro and amex. If you provide us with incorrect information, this may cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation has been properly received.

Where the Company delivers to site, delivery will be to the nearest hard road to site. If the Customer requests delivery to a site beyond the nearest hard road then all risk as to the condition of the Goods on the delivery is with the Customer, and no claims will be entertained as to the condition of the Goods on delivery. Unloading is the responsibility of the Customer.

If the Company delivers in its own vehicle the Company retains the risk for the condition of the Goods until delivery has been made.

If delivery is by carrier or by post then risk for the condition of the Goods is with the Customer after the Goods have left the Company's premises.

Any claim as to shortages or condition of Goods on delivery which would not be apparent on visual inspection must be communicated within 48 hours. Subject to the condition the Customer is deemed to have accepted the Goods as having been supplied in good condition, and in accordance with the order.

Liability of the Company for the defective condition of any of the Goods supplied will not exceed the contract value of the Goods in respect of which the complaint is made. No claim may be made in respect of defective condition of the Goods once they have been used by fixing or attempting to fix to wall or floor.

Returns & Cancellations

If you have bought the tiles online you can return complete boxes of tiles to us within 14 working days from receipt of the goods, providing we receive them in good condition, and 30 days for faulty/damaged goods, but we advise that you check your order off within 48hr, as any longer may cause shading issues. This applies to stock items only. The charge for this is 20% of the net value of the goods returned. All special order products From the point of order are NON-REFUNDABLE after 24hrs and as such we highly recommend ordering a sample beforehand. This product and all other special order products are subject to a 3-4 week lead time.**

The Company's conditions override any conditions of Sale/Purchase of the Customer. The Customer's conditions are only effective in so far as they do not conflict with the Company's conditions.

Acceptance of the Goods or payment for the Goods by the Customer to the Company shall of itself constitute an acceptance of these conditions where acceptance has not previously been communicated to the Company.

This contract is governed by English Law.
