Go for green this year!

Have you noticed the trend for green interiors in 2020? We are definitely seeing a rise in the use of the colour green this year. You don’t have to look far online to see images of beautiful botanical inspired interiors. The use of both house plants and faux plants has increased rapidly, with a move to tie in our interiors with nature. Could this be due to the increased amount of time we have all had to spend inside our homes this year? Brining nature into the home helps us to feel connected to the outside world somewhat.

Green as a colour is linked to creativity and is therefore a brilliant choice for use in home offices or artistic studio spaces. In a year where working from home has become the new normal for so many, it is easy to see why we would be gravitating towards this inspiring colour to uplift the spaces we are spending so much time in.

Of course any colour can be introduced into the home in a range of different ways, I have already mentioned the use of plants in the home to bring a touch of green to a room. This can also be done with the use of soft furnishings and textiles. However why not consider using tiles to inject some colour into your décor? With their undeniable practicality tiles make a great choice for both floor and wall coverings, but they are not only designed for practicality. Tile ranges are carefully developed to help you create stylish spaces you will love spending time in. Styles and colourways reflect the latest trends allowing you to create a stunning home with tiles.

New Biselado Sage
New Biselado Woodland Fern

Brick shaped tiles such as the New Biselado range are a great way to introduce colour into even the smallest of spaces. A number of colourways from subtle to vibrant tones allow you to find the perfect hue. A deep jewel toned green gives a dramatic opulent look while a more subtle tone is calming and will help you create a more relaxed feel.

Antique Cedar

A soft accent colour as seen above makes a wonderful addition to an otherwise neutral space. Enough colour to alter the feel of the room, without overwhelming it. These soft tones are easily paired with whites, neutrals or other pastel tones. Keeping the feel of the space calm ad reflective while introducing an on trend colour.

Nirvana Aqua

Aqua tones make for a great bathroom. Undeniably on trend yet also subtle and relaxing. This particular tile from the Nirvana range is cleverly designed to  give a worn rustic look. Pair with clean contemporary design accessories to finish the look in a stylish way.
