Due to the porous nature of these tiles, they are not recommended for use in areas that receive direct water contact such as showers and wet rooms. The small joints which are left due to the manufacturing process means these tiles are difficult to completely seal. If you wish to use them in a directly wet area, it is essential that the room is fully waterproofed using a Tanking System.
