Probably the biggest trend right now within interiors is organic materials and we’re seeing this translated into tiles. Wood, slate and even concrete all fall into this category and with advancements in inkjet printing, we’re able to replicate just about any material onto a ceramic tile. From intricate wood graining through to detailed veining in marble, we can replicate almost any look of natural material with the added benefit of them being hardwearing, waterproof and easy to maintain. Organic materials instantly add texture to walls and floors and with a neutral colour palette, they can fit harmoniously into any home.

Another HUGE trend that has continued into 2016 is grey. Gone are days of all white and cream tiles, consumers are now looking to varying shades of grey to transform their homes. But why grey? Grey is a modern neutral and can be easily teamed with pops of colour making it a versatile option for any home.

We’re also seeing a move towards textured tiles to really add depth and a different perspective to a room. A top tip is that a textured tile in grey – or other neutral colours – can instantly transform a room where space is limited by capturing the light and bouncing it across walls to give an illusion of more space.
